Yevpatoria is a resort that is well known as a place where children improve their health. There are many sanatoria and camps built specially for kids of different ages. The sea is shallow along the coast there, so it's pretty safe for kids to do swimming. Beaches in Yevpatoria have fine sand. There are some interesting sights to see in the town, such as an old Mosque, Orthodox Church and Karaite Church called Kenassa.

GETTING TO YEVPATORIA

You can get to Evpatoria from Simferopol by train or bus. It's about 70 km from Simferopol, so it could take you 1 hour by a car, 1.5 by bus and 2.5 by a train (local trains are really slow!). If you come to Simferopol airport, you shouldn't go to the train station - buses, taxis or cars going to Yevpatoria are available just at the airport

There is the oldest and most popular hotel called "The Ukraine" located in the downtown - 10 minute walk from the sea. The prices are lower than in Sevastopol and Yalta. Private apartments are also available, and our local agency will help you with them.
